So here we go…
What started with an unconventional New Year’s resolution has grown into the site you see in front of you. Welcome to dansgoodside.com!
January 1st, 2010: It was a new year, a new decade, and I decided it was time to depart from my typical yearly ‘resolutions’ consisting of, but not limited to…going to the gym more often, reading more books, not watching old episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer… you get the point. I had decided that my main resolution for 2010 would be to write a cookbook.
Cooking has always been an immense passion of mine, so it only seemed natural that I could go out on a limb and try to assemble my very own cookbook. That limb has now led to countless recipes, a few mishaps (ok, more than a few), a blog feature on www.foodnetwork.ca, and now to this site. What it really boils down to is this simple fact: I love food. I love to eat it, cook it, serve it, create it. I think cooking is pretty darn cool, and I am here to convince you of that.
Check back often for the good side of food; you won’t regret it!
