The brilliance of this opener is evident by the fact that his second highest score was only 20. He scored 27 off his first 30 balls, and then 76 off his next 35. Punjab scored 167/7 from their 20 overs.
PBKS defeated DC by 31 runs, removing them from the playoff race. DC collapsed from 69/0 in 6.1 overs to 136/8. Prabhsimran’s century looked even better when DC managed 136/8.
It was the first time a Kings batsman scored a century in the IPL after September 2022, when Mayank Agarwal hit a hundred in Sharjah.
