Tom Brady took time out of his busy schedule to offer some advice to next-generation quarterbacks. Recently, he met with the top four quarterbacks selected in the NFL Draft 2023: Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud Anthony Richardson and Will Levis. Brady shared a meal with Michael Rubin, the Fanatics CEO and rookie quarterbacks at Rubin’s home. Travis Scott , a Hip-Hop musician, was also present at the meeting.
The four quarterbacks all skipped the NFLPA rookie day to receive guidance from the Pro Bowl 15-time QB. Social media went wild with a video showing the advice Brady offered to the young bucks.
“I’m going in the second round. Brady said to Levis, “In the end, it’s really not that big a deal.” Will Levis, the Kentucky quarterback, was shockingly left out of the NFL Draft’s first round. The Tennessee Titans traded up eight spots to get the talented quarterback in the second round. Brady told him it didn’t really matter where he got picked.
The 45-year old former quarterback then focused his attention on the 1st pick Bryce Young. Brady told him it doesn’t really matter whether he was drafted first overall or not if he wasn’t willing to work hard. Bryce Young, the Carolina Panthers’s No.1 pick overall, was selected by them.
Tom Brady told rookie quarterbacks to work hard
Tom Brady, the New England Patriots legend, spoke to newcomers in the league from his experience. Tom Brady told the rookie quarterbacks not to settle for less than they deserve and to keep working as hard as possible to create a legacy.
“Going 1st overall at the end is not a big thing,”Brady stated. “It’s great! You’ve got a chance. You will probably be paid more for a period of time than anyone else. I was drafted number 199 and I outlasted everyone. Another me is back there. How can I maintain my advantage over everyone? I kept working. I didn’t say, “Hey, I am good.” I won three Super Bowls. I’m good. ‘”
Bryce Young is likely to sit behind veteran QB Andy Dalton during the first half 2023 of the season. The Panthers’ front office remains concerned about his physique, but is confident that he can overcome it.
Anthony Richardson will likely start the first week of the season. He is the quarterback who is considered to be the most gifted physically in the class of 2023. Indianapolis Colts are concerned about his inexperience and lack of accuracy, but believe that Richardson can succeed in the NFL with some playing experience.
Will Levis will be the backup to Ryan Tannehill for Tennessee’s entire season, if not most of it. C.J. Stroud is expected to be started immediately by the Houston Texans, but given some time for him to adjust to NFL pace.
